to run for his glory

Yesterday was a big run through Siegen called "Firmenlauf"( run of companies. Nearly 8000 people ran for different companies- and it was fun. Everywhere was music and people who cheered the people on...So the rout of 5.5 km (3.44mph) was a really funny way to run with friends and sweat a lot. =)

It reminded me on the run we run...we do it with many friends- some of them get weak during the run and some race constantly. I saw one man who had to be revived- it was hard to see that! But I think it's the same with some Christians, too.They live with the lord but on their road they get away from the lord and have to be revived. Sometimes we get weak but the lord will get us through and carry us to the goal.
I run for his glory and I'm looking forward to be at the finish... (I thought the same during the whole run yesterday =))

So be encouraged by this verse: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."   2.Corinthians 12.9
